Tonight was "deload" night...which means we went light to take a break from all the heavy abuse.
Bench - We did about 5 or 6 sets of 5 and worked our way up to 105 lbs.
Reverse Band Press - There was 155 lbs., on the bar and bands hanging from the top of the power rack and looped around both ends of the bar. So, it seemed a lot lighter than 155 lbs. We did two sets of 25. I REALLY liked this drill. Felt really good in my chest and it made it easier to practice my technique.
Tricep Pressdowns - 80 lbs., 10. 100 lbs., 8. Then a 'strip set' (just found out that's what it was called tonight. lol...that's when you go lower in weight and don't take breaks between sets) of 90 lbs., 70 lbs., 50 lbs., all sets of 10.
Band Abs and Broomstick twists.
Trip to New York accomplished what it was supposed to and I had fun with my Aunt Jeanette. Need some prayers for more sponsors or some kind of funding from somewhere to continue to pay for everything. I found out in New York that there will be another sanctioned IPC meet at the beginning of the year some time, so I will have another chance to qualify then.
Continue to pray for Adam's triathlon this week. It's on Sunday. I can't remember if he's leaving tomorrow or Thursday, but pray for his traveling. And continue to pray for Brian's business endeavor that he's to hear about this week.
