I think the training/school schedule is getting to me just a little bit. I'm not sleeping as much, and I'm fighting off a cold or something because of that. I'm feeling a little extra moody the last few days, and I think it's because I've got all kinds of tests this week. I really can't afford to get sick, cuz we're not allowed to miss class unless we're in the hospital....plus I can't afford to have my training be crap right now from not feeling well. I also gained a pound over the last two weeks...which wouldn't be bad if I was where I wanted to be, but it just adds more that I need to get rid of.
Anyway, it's really not that big of a deal. I'm just feeling a bit cranky tonight, so I thought I'd let you all know. Wasn't that nice of me??? lol.
We had a really good day again today. Don't know what my Overhead Triceps or Ab weights were. If I can't see the pin, I don't ever remember to ask or pay attention to what I did...and on these two exercises I have my back to the cable. But, Brian made a comment on Triceps that I got stronger. And we also reconfigured abs again today and I really ended up liking them. He took the pad out of the Preacher Curl seat that you put your arms over, and that gave me a lot more room to open up and work my abs, cuz I could lean back farther. The Preacher Curl seat is what I do my cable Triceps and Ab exercises on.
Other than that we did a set of 12 with 15 lbs. on Lateral Raises, then did 2 sets of 12 with 20 lbs. We did the new Hip Raises to work my lower back. Dumbbell Press 40 lbs., 10. 45 lbs., 2 sets of 10, arms at 45 degrees instead of 90 degrees. And Reverse Band Press we worked up to 225 lbs. for a single with a mini black band.
That's pretty much completely opposite of how we did it, because we always start with whatever bench exercise I'm doing and go from there...but I'm tired, so, it's okay that it's backwards. :-) Everyone have a good night.
